school's ordinary today.
the first day of school, doesn't feels much to me.
in fact i'm numbed by holidays.
deep in ma' mind, it's time my life too flight,
finish up my tertiary and serve the nation! before i can soar in this concrete jungle.
we stayed back after school then, to finish up our undone projects.
1 DOWN & 3 more to go~
came back, took a rest before watching a movie that i'd been wanting to watch.
Lalapipo.
can't believe it'd been marketed in Sg before, exposure wasn't wide obviously..
jpfilmfestival, google'em!
i'm so disappointed that such good films are hidden underneath!!
Titled, Lalapipo, or u can read as "alot of people". this movie plays a very unique theme which makes them different from other movie. Planting the characters very carefully are the mainstream/stereotypical japanese, you can see otaku, pornstars and even pimp. this movie unfold into a unqiue plot, exploring the lives of many different characters in Japan. Social movie or not, your choice.
what touch your heart are not only the acting, but also about how much the director portray the "will" to live. The will to live is what's deem unseen in this movie. You will know when u watch, and get "in contact" with the characters, how they struggle despite the problems in life and look at the "society" with each of their very perspective.
and top it off, they'd got a good sets of songs!
i really really want the OST..
the tracks are really inspiring, and plays a huge theme in making this film a one of a kind..
M-01 ララFUN / Diggy-MO'(from SOUL'd OUT)
M-02 愛をKU-RE! KU-RE! / 関谷謙太郎(from アンダー ザ カウンター)
M-03 ENCORE / Ryohei
M-04 Scenery / immi
M-05 明日を歌えば / 千葉はな(from 羊毛とおはな)
M-06 All The Love / Koh(from KG)
M-07 BABY MARIA / Mizrock
M-08 What's happen'? / イトキン(from ET-KING)
M-09 FLY AWAY / 笹本安詞
M-10 Shake Your “最高”NIGHT / 西野名菜
M-11 Don't Leave Me Alone / YOSHIKA
M-12 DA SHOW MORE NIGHT & DAY / 名取香り

M-14 people in the World(Movie's Short Version) / AI
here's what i'd found, their songs are really rare, u really gotta watch the movie.
a set of city-theme alike songs, throw in some retro jazz and it's a master piece.
