Viddsee Short Films That You Definitely Have To Watch

Alittle shout out for Viddsee! a place where we could watch the best of short films where we can relate to.
As a fan of short film, and i swear i spend alot time having dinner over Viddsee's shorts!
and after watching most of it (i might add it more in the future), but here are some of the best (imo) that you should definitely watch(:
[FYI: films are not rank in order & you should really check out the rest of it]

32°C 深夜KK/32°C Fall In Love - Tan Seng Kiat

the actress is just too sweet. =P
i swear i would go down everyday if she's the cashier of my 7-11 LOL
anyways, not just the actress (FYI: Emily Chen) this sweet love shorts is not dark at all despite the robbery plot and is hilarious & sweet in all ways.
no doubt the winner of BMW Shorts. *thumbs up*

Gift - Daniel Yam

"being rich..
is not about how much you have..
but how much you give,
somehow, when you give..
you'll be happier"

a touching film, i swear i got all the goosebumps.
as much as our society shaped us,
we'd been living on wants instead of needs,
desires and never ending greed.
we're a papertown,
we're materialistic,
we judge, and however despite the social stigma out there.
i always new there would be a beacon of hope out there somewhere,
making changes.

Thank you, Daniel Yam.
For reminding us money is not everything that's out there.

The Girl From Tomorrow - James Lee

"Mankind needs dreams and imagination,
These are the basic tenets of science
Without dreams and imagination, the telephone won't exist..
internet too, we wont have airplanes, rockets,
And man won't be able to reach the moon... & we will not have moon cakes to eat"

Yet another cute and heart soothing film for a hopeless romantic like me.
A well pace short film that makes you fall in love with it before you know it,
and it's gone. A fleeting romance that hits right in the spot. So, do you believe in time travel?

Karang Guni - Anthony Chen

a heartwarming short film by Anthony Chen,
do i still need to say more?

The Rule Breakers [Class Fight] - Jaze Phua

definitely have to give this a go when you have a classroom, and a chio bu teacher :D (and there's yellow stone!)
good old days of beo-ing and getting into the good books and the whacky action shorts is definitely worth watching. But why pick up the ruler? wait for her to bend down ma!
Now who's up for some staple bullet gun fight?

Mobile Love Van - Png Zhen Yu

A touching story makes you at the sleazy night scene the other way.

The Gang - A Kelvin Sng Short Film

a cool 30 mins action packed gang film with the familiar faces for all the gangster fans out there!
sit back & enjoy(:

******
and there's that.
if i could, i would love to make one too dammit
&yes i wanna have cup noodles tmr :3

This powerful video about gender equality will make you question about everything

"(NSFW) This short film shows a world in which typical gender roles are reversed. It's an upsetting and unsettling must-watch. It made me sad, then angry, then sad, then angry, and then I wanted to punch the world in the face and then I resolved to change everything! Equality now!"

watch art.

time to watch some art.

'The Eagleman Stag' Animated Short Film by Mikey Please

Tackling the issue of how time becomes insignificant as one gets older, Mikey Please's charming stop-motion short film has won numerous awards (e.g. BAFTA 2011British Animation Awards, AFI 2011). Using only a white foam-like material, the monochrome animations are given the voice of actor David Cann.
The Eagleman Stag revolves around the philosophical notion of how the value of time diminishes if we don't make use of it appropriately, and its not difficult to appreciate Mikey Please's intricately carved sets and puppets.

saw

Stress is certainly piling up.
yes i need a break.

head out at 7.

nevertheless went to install some shitty prog, awesome.

* end of school *

dreads monday.
sorry i still can't bomb a topic out.
hard when "everything" is taken into consideration.

was feeling lerthegic and was so tempted to hit my bed for abit.
but i guess i'll just stay awake then sleep early.

brother5?
brother4 brother3 brother2
brother1?
D:
we're down sizing ain't it?
admit it. everything's falling apart.
i know everyone got their own way of preaching
but we once stood together,
why can't we stay united?

i'm just wondering...

Brothers?
do brothers not called each other when they promised to? But stayed at home and forgets everything.
do brothers really came to find their fellow brothers in their slum only when they'd got nothing on.
do brothers said my _____ friends rock with a smile on their face?
do brothers gave up the only day in the week to meet brothers? D:
do brothers not care how the other feel?
do brothers pang seh brothers for chee bye?
do brothers play pang seh because of girls?
do brothers take each other for granted?

P.S. i dont watch broke back mountain. stop laughing :)

i had so many questions now.
so many..
so what now..?

- T_T -

here's a short film before i go.
it's a short film before Saw was made into a full length movie.
Saw (short film) by Wan.

i hope people really could really appreciate life and the things going on around them.
i yearn for jigsaw, but he's too much gore of a hero doesn't he?
saw could really be a film for you, as they uncovers the dirt of human nature, about how much human could foul just to stay alive.
killing the one you loved? to stay alive. Yes.

i SAW your colors.

OU +

Woked up early in the mornings. Despite sleeping late the other night.
oh well, i actually wanted to head back to bed.
but after 10 mins of rolling and tossing myself about.
i gave up.
i immediately woke up and wash up and all.

watch shows online again,
slacking and all, wanted to head out initially,

wanted to share this with you guys,

Watch this prize-winning video produced by Vinn Bay and Tee Boon Leng for a video competition as part of the ADI (Alzheimer's Disease International) conference in March 2009.

i'm rather amazed that this is in cantonese, yet a film in Singapore.
yea sadly, cantonese speakers are rare =3
anyways, this sad stories, really got me thinking again.
well, i'm really those kinda guys who would really rather avoid seeing old people, no offense, but if i'd seen them, i would be thinking and thinking. "where are their children?"
"shldn't they at least, take care of'em?"
and such and all.
i do charity when i'd seen them,
but after helping one, sometimes i'm really depressed by how little my help was,
and out of so many, only 1 had received my aid,
this really brings me back to when i was with Adel at bugis.
apparently, when we head over to iluma, there's this old man selling tissues.
his beads on his hands and his bald head makes him significant.
we watched a movie, (but that was not the point)
after watching a movie,
i saw him across the road, again. From the side of Iluma,

"you know what, fuck it.
when we're fucking enjoying in the aircondition-ed iluma and watching a movie.
he was fucking standing outside all the while"

"If my future dream is realize and i'm fucking rich, i'm fucking to donate most of my money to help the whole fucking world"

if you think about it, why won't everyone spilt their fortune?
it really make work stop, stops improvement, slows down learning
stops the world where everyone wanted it,
everyone wanted to stand out of each other, that creates this fucked up concept.
ewwwwww ~

Teen nowadays complains only walking to and fro across a heat painted street.
but what do they know?
i'm an ass myself =x

i really adores family warmth =3
can i make my own family niaos? X3

isit so hard to keep up with a schedule?
i wan my life back.

sadly.
yes we head out to town, slack, walk abit.
and have our usual round, together with our lunch and dinner.
nothing much in particular again.

here's something i thought i can share with you guys.
Titled: What is that? (Τι είναι αυτό;)
Directed by: Constantin Pilavios

well, it's just a short 5 mins.
but it's so true, the love whereby a father had for a son, can never be really repaid isn't it?
love, it's filled with patience and care, not just money and comfort.
enjoy :D

sounds.

i wanted to share, what i'd seen.
i wanted to pass on what i'd learn.
i wanted to show others, the other perspective of things.

well, i'd been sharing things on my blog :D
just another source of entertainment. & alas, my thoughts to it.

Titled SIGNS.

A simple short film about communication.
Created by Publicis Mojo and @RadicalMedia
Director: Patrick Hughes

Well the recording's done great.
the music, the flows and everything.
things got hyped alil, as thou as life'd blewed into Jason's life.
whether it's love or what, we never knows,
who knows, maybe Stacey's a mute.
or maybe Stacey doesn't want to start breaking the silence.
well, it did left us with lots of thoughts in the end.

oh well, it's definitely artistic.
but well, some art seem to have no meanings at all.
if you think much into it, it's much senseless.
its secret is hidden well within the makers,
maybe art's something that is never meant to be understood...
